Prospect Hill offers some wonderful options to help you manage and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Our years of experience have helped us formulate facilities which are relevant to our residents without being overly expensive to maintain or operate.

Our communal facilities are extensive and generous in area for a village of 63 apartments. The main lounge area is the central meeting point of Prospect Hill where often you will find residents reading the paper, discussing current affairs or simply sitting and enjoying the sun.

Our library offers an extensive range of books for our residents to borrow as well as a vast range of DVDs. Weekly movie screenings are held in our in-house theatre. If you are inclined to feel more active then perhaps you should partake in one of our morning exercise classes in our activities room. We have several treatment rooms which are available for our visiting health practitioner, along with a fully equipped hairdressing salon.

Outside in our superb garden courtyard is a large barbeque and outdoor eating which can be used by residents to entertain family and friends or alternatively to participate in summer barbecues.

Each weekday, our bar area is open for lunch and dinner is available in our dining room each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  We welcome family and friends to join residents for lunch or dinner. Our bar and dining room area is where often you will find residents catching up over a cup of coffee. The dining room and bar area are available for resident private functions at no charge.

Our rooftop balcony is available for residents who wish to entertain their guests or just have a quiet drink on a summer’s night looking at the Melbourne skyline.

Prospect Hill is serviced by a secure lock up garage where residents can safely house their cars and also each apartment has allocated to it a private lock up storage area.

We have the luxury of our live-in resident manager who is responsible for the smooth operation of the Village. Our manager, Ann Ponton, lives at Prospect Hill and together with our relief staff is able to respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This provides unparalleled peace of mind knowing that there are appropriately trained people on site at all times should you need assistance.

Our maintenance man, Bill Juchno, is able to help residents with small maintenance issues such as the changing light bulbs or tap washers. Bill is also responsible for the removal of garbage and recycling and is always available to lend a hand should a resident require heavy lifting or general assistance.
